Kieron Gillen is a pop-media journalist, whose music writing appeared in underground indie Bible Plan B magazine. Phonogram: Rue Britannia was his first full comic series in the direct market. He’s since written various work-for-hire for publishers like Marvel, Avatar, BOOM, Panini and Tokyopop. He’d especially like you to read Busted Wonder, his OGN-for-web collaboration with the dazzling Charity Larrison, as he thinks it’s lovely.

Jamie McKelvie made his real comics debut in mod-love-triangle drama Long Hot Summer, written by Eric Stephenson. He followed Phonogram: Rue Britannia with his 2007 mini-series Suburban Glamour, which he conceived, wrote and draw and work for Marvel and DC. He draws Hot Punk Girls for bands who wish Hot Punk Girls on their posters. He’s also drawn X-man Cable. No-one quite knows how that happened.

Matthew Wilson made the foolish decision at the age of 18 to attend an overpriced art school. Encumbered by his enormous student loans he has tried to color his way out of debt since 2003, when he began working for the comics coloring studio, Zylonol Studios under Lee Loughridge. While at Zylonol his most notable achievement was coloring 39 issues of Y the Last Man (21-60). Since 2007 he has been coloring under his own name begining with 3 issues Jamie Mckelvie’s Suburban Glamour. With hardly a dent made in either comics or student loans, Matthew colors on into the future in hopes of one day being moderately well known for his work or at least free of his frighteningly large debt! (Matthew’s spelling of the word color should make it quite apparent that he is not British, and is therefore just guessing at what color the UK really is!)

Jamie and Kieron share a love of Sunderland pop-punk bands of the late nineties and little else. It’s unlikely Matt knows where Sunderland is.
