Hi.

Since McKelvie has a B-side drawn and shown, probably best to have the site in at least some basic form, so when he shows it off all over the web like some kind of drunken art-floozy when they type in the “www.phonogramcomic.com” it leads somewhere.

And it leads here.

The grounding on the comic can be found in the sidebar, which will be expanded over the future months with character bios, more art, previews and other bits and pieces which will hopefully delight, entertain and make you go and buy our comic so we can eat. We’re skinny guys, so don’t need much, but a lump of cheese or similar to gnaw on would be nice.

Anyway - the reason why we’re launching the site now is because we want to show off what we call a B-side. What’s a B-side?

Ooh, I hate that David Kohl Guy.
We’ll be doing five of these, each one introducing the central cast of Rue Britannia. If you like it, we actively encourage you to mirror it, pass it around and generally use it to show to people.Secondly, in preparation for its appearance in the next Previews, the cover of issue 1.
Keys Money and Fags
The white space at the bottom is for the title and assorted font to make it appear formalist and us cleverer than we really are.To keep up to date on Phonogram, for now I’d suggest all those 21st century minds use the RSS feed link at the bottom to make sure you get all our cheery propaganda. For those playing late-nineties retro, we’ll sort out some manner of mailing list.

Anyway: He’s Jamie McKelvie, I’m Kieron Gillen and the comic called is called Phonogram: Rue Britannia.

Phonogram: Music is Magic.

Hey, that’s Theban, isn’t it? What’s it say? Never mind, I’ll look it up.
Looking forward to this book, gents.

Found your site through a post on the LJ scans_daily (post made by the ever charming Warren Ellis).
I’ll look for it in the shop to pick up :)

Thanks everyone.

Matt, the Theban is actually half of the sentence - we cut the rest. So you’ll never know the full thing. Except Kieron will probably tell you later.

This is… A Good Thing.

I think you two better get ready for poster-children status of some kind.

Looking lush gents. Particularly curious to see how the goddess pans out… All muses should be interdimensional beings with black eyes.

I don’t usually say things (”Leave comments”) to people I don’t actually /converse/ with on a regular basis, but just this once i’ll break the rule to say:

Yes. Yes, yes, yes.
